This patient education pamphlet provides information on postnatal depression (PND). The topics discussed include: an explanation of PND, the signs and symptoms of PND and the risk factors for PND.
This leaflet can be a useful tool for women with postnatal depression as the importance of psychological therapies, counselling and support groups for recovery is outlined. Antidepressant medication is also discussed as a treatment option.
