Ordering Help

Shopping Online

Shopping online for your patient education pamphlets, anatomical models and books is easy. All online orders require a credit card for payment at the time of ordering. We accept Visa, American Express and Mastercard. We do not charge any surcharges for payment with credit card. 

If you prefer to pay via electronic funds transfer or cheque, then please order using one of these options:

  • Email your order to orders@mitec.com.au
  • Call us on +613 9888 6262. One of our helpful staff will gladly take your order over the phone and assist with any queries.
  • Fax your order to +613 9888 6465.
  • Post your order to Mi-tec Medical Publishing, PO Box 24, Camberwell, VIC, 3124.

You can pay at the time of ordering or upon receiving the invoice with your shipment, whichever is most convenient for you.

To Place Your Order Online

To shop on our online store, follow the steps below.

  • Find the items you are wanting to order (either by using the search function to search for a specific title, or by selecting your appropriate speciality via the "Order Online" tab in the home page menu)
  • Select the quantity (100, 200, 500 or 1000) and add the item(s) to your shopping cart
  • Checkout by providing your shipping and billing details.

Find what you want

Browse our site for the patient education, books or anatomical models you want, or use the Search function to find specific titles.

The Search function allows you to go directly to a title or product. For example, if you want to order the patient education pamphlet on cataract surgery, type in "cataract" then ENTER and ordering instructions for the pamphlet will appear.

Add the item to your Shopping Cart

After you’ve found what you want and have selected the quantity, click “Add to cart”.

From here, you have two options: continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

Click on the option you want.

If you continue shopping, you can order as many products as necessary.


When you have finished shopping, you can proceed to Checkout in two ways: 1. within a product, click “Checkout"; 2. within Shopping Cart, click “Checkout”.

Checkout is a four-step process:

  1. Your Shopping Cart
  2. Shipping & Billing
  3. Review & Payment
  4. Confirmation

Your Shopping Cart

Here you can review the details of the products you have selected. You can amend your order if necessary. Review your Shopping Cart before going to the next step to ensure you have chosen the correct products and the quantities you want.

Shipping & Billing

When you have reviewed your Shopping Cart and are satisfied it is correct, enter your name, address, country and postcode and other contact details in the fields provided. Choose your preferred shipping option: Regular or Express Post. The total cost, including good and services tax (GST) and shipping, are calculated automatically.

Then enter your email address in the field provided. Use an email address that is current and that you are certain to remember because all email communications from Mi-tec are sent to this address. Also, this email address is required to access your Online Customer Account details (if you have a Customer Account).

At this point, you can still continue shopping or proceed to Checkout. To continue with Checkout, enter your delivery address details. All fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. Continue to the next step.

Note: If you want your order shipped to a PO Box, please enter "PO Box" before the number.

Review & Payment

Review your Shopping Cart and your delivery details to make sure they are correct.

If you need to amend your Shopping Cart, you can select the Shopping Cart tab in the top Navigation Bar. If you need to amend your delivery details, click on “edit”. This will take you back to the Shipping & Billing page.

To pay for your order, select which credit card you want to use: American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard or Visa. There is no surcharge for using any of these cards. Enter all credit card details in the required fields (*). The credit card number must be entered without spaces or dashes.

Select “Complete Order”.

Upon successful completion of credit-card payment, a new page is generated that acknowledges your payment. This is a web-generated tax invoice and is your record of your online order. It is your reference if you have any enquires. For your records, a Mi-tec invoice will also be sent with your parcel(s).

Note the stated email address on your invoice. This web-generated invoice is sent as a confirmation email to your stated email address to notify you of our receipt of your order.
