Are the patient education pamphlets protected by copyright?

Yes, all of our publications are protected by copyright.
They are not to be photocopied, scanned or reproduced in any hardcopy or electronic format. Similarly, the text and medical illustrations are not to be reproduced. Any queries regarding this should be directed to Dr Calvin Miller, Director by using the contact form or by calling +613 9888 6262.

Can the patient education pamphlets be reproduced on the internet or as hardcopy?

The text, illustrations and design of all our publications are protected by copyright and must not be reproduced in any manner. For practices that are setting up a website, please first contact us regarding terms and conditions of limited use of some text.

Do I have to pay at the time of ordering?

We welcome payment at the time of ordering, however we can also fulfil orders on invoice, meaning we will send your tax invoice with your shipment. Payment can then be made by EFT, credit card or cheque. Payment terms are 14 days. Ordering on invoice is only available to existing customers. We request that all first time customers pay at the time of ordering.
All online orders require credit card payment at the time of ordering.

Can I order online and pay online?

Yes. It's easy to order through our online shop. Just find the product you are after and add it to your shopping cart. If you require any assistance with placing your order online, please contact us and we will be happy to walk you through the ordering process. When ordering online, you will have to pay by credit card to complete the order. If you don’t have access to a credit card for payment, then please order via email (orders@mitec.com.au), telephone or fax.

Hospitals and government departments need to supply a purchase order number and a copy of the order. Please email all purchase orders to orders@mitec.com.au.

Can I return an order of patient education pamphlets?

Yes, we accept returns of patient education pamphlets as long as they are still the current edition. They must be returned in the same condition as you received them, so please carefully pack them when posting. To begin a return, please email orders@mitec.com.au and we will email you the returns form.

Can I return an anatomical model?

Yes, as long as it is returned within 14 days and is not damaged. Please box it carefully when posting. To begin a return, please email orders@mitec.com.au and we will email you the returns form.

Can I return a book?

As we order only recently published books specifically from international publishers, we do not accept change of mind returns on book orders. Please order your books with care. As this is a specialty service, the books are ordered into Australia on a per-order basis.

Can I place a small order of pamphlets?

Yes. While most orders are for a minimum of 100 pamphlets per title, some doctors need fewer pamphlets. If small-quantity options are not listed on your order form, please contact us by email or phone with your requirements. Orders placed online have a minimum of 100 pamphlets per title.

Shipping faq

Please contact us if you have a query about a specific order.

We have plentiful stock of all our pamphlets meaning your order will usually be despatched within 1-2 business days. Order placed on despatch days prior to 2pm will likely be sent the same day.

Orders are despatched three times per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) from our office in Camberwell, Victoria and are sent with Australia Post Parcel Post. Standard delivery time is 2-4 business days depending on your location in Australia.

International orders (New Zealand) are sent via Australia Post International Express and typically arrive within 5 business days.

If your order appears to be taking longer than the timeframes specified above, please contact us via email (orders@mitec.com.au) or phone (+613 9888 6262) and we will promptly follow it up with Australia Post for you.

Rarely, a pamphlet may be out of stock and on backorder because it is being reviewed and updated prior to reprinting. In such a case, we will notify you that there may be a slight delay in fulfilling your order.

If you have an urgent order, please contact us by phone, and we will process your order as a matter of priority. We can offer an express post service at an at-cost disbursement. If you are in Melbourne, we can courier the order to your practice as a matter of priority.

Our customers are primarily in Australia and New Zealand, but we can ship worldwide. Please email us at orders@mitec.com.au for any orders to be delivered outside of Australia and New Zealand.
