Primer of Robotic and Telerobotic Surgery

Written by an international group of pioneering leaders in robotic and telerobotic surgery, this state-of-the-art volume examines the feasibility, uses, capabilities, and limitations of this emerging technology in surgical practice and training. Chapters discuss current electronic systems for guiding laparoscopic surgery and describe the various surgical robots and telerobotic surgical systems available.
