He is Professor of Conservative Dentistry at the United Medical and Dental Schools, Guy's Hospital, London: an examiner at several universities in the UK and other countries and at the Royal Colleges of Surgery of England, Glasgow and Edinburgh; Honarary Consultant in restorative dentistry to the British Army and past President of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry.
